He was predeceased by: his parent John Benson; and his siblings, Wyatt Tarrant (Elizabeth) and Mary Stone (Earl). He is survived by: his parent Ola Celeste Hughes Tarrant; his wife Janet Elizabeth Ray Tarrant; his daughters, Lynn T. Peterson (Bill) and Joanne T. Kelley (David); his granddaughters, Nicole P. Campbell, Lauren P. Nabors (Lee), Andrea K. Newton (John) and Elizabeth K. Larned (Joe); his great grandchildren, Daniel Newton, Brooke Newton, Harrison Nabors, Jack Larned, Brianna Larned, Leigh Ann and Kamryn Campbell; and his siblings, Jean Toole, Nell Able and Marvin Thompson (Mary Louise). He is also survived by nine nephews, and five nieces.
