She was predeceased by: her parents, Mercer Perteet and Bertie Perteet; her siblings, A. J., Mercer Gene, Edsel, Cecil Perteet and Gloria Neal; and her sons-in-law, Charles Stanley Speaks and Douglas Larry Belger.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Belger of West Columbia, SC, Melissa Williams of West Columbia, SC, Michelle Gibson (Alan) of Lexington, SC, Lori Summers (John) of Franklin, TN, Wendy Gooding (Dale) of Lapeer, MI and Christopher Speaks (Joy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
