As we bid Donnie Eugene Carpenter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donnie Eugene Carpenter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Juanita Carpenter. He is survived by: his spouse Hye; his sons, Choi Carpenter and Timothy Allen Carpenter; his daughter-in-law Jill Sonja McLees Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Erin, Bailey and Camille.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Korean Methodist Church of Columbia or the Big Red Barn Retreat, honoring Donnie's commitment to his faith and community.
