She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Monts and Carrie Mayers Martin (Monts); her daughters, Mary Ann and Mattie (Abraham); and her siblings, George, Johnny, David and Genell.
She is survived by: her children, George (Sharon) of Hopkins, SC and Yvonne of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Aubrey (Tara), Ntozake, Paris, Sequita and Shavon; her siblings, Timothy Monts (Cynthia), Pearline Boyd of Sumter, SC, Onzilee Casey (Joe) of Sumter, SC and Betty Buskey (George) of Sumter, SC; and her niece Kelly. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
