He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lee Gaston Palmore; his parents, Early Palmore and Carrison Ann Terry Palmore; his children, Carrie Lujean Elam, Joe Lee Palmore and Floyd Robinson; his siblings, Mary Louise Palmore Clinkscales, Azzie Lee Palmore, Ida Mae Palmore Holloway, Willie Palmore, John Henry Palmore, Thomas Palmore and Joel Palmore; and his pet Tiny.
He is survived by: his daughters, Louise Palmore Vandiver, Mildred Palmore Boggs, Annie Kate McMorris and Polly Mae Chiles; and his siblings, Elizabeth Palmore and Curtis Palmore. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren, eighty great-great grandchildren.
