She was predeceased by: her husband John Tinsley Snipes; her parents, Ernest L. Chasteen and Beatrice Campbell Chasteen; and her great grandchild Lindsee McAlister. She is survived by: her children, Don Snipes (Charlene) of Honea Path, Diane Snipes Ellison (Earl) of Honea Path and Jane Snipes Gambrell (Joe) of Belton; and her grandchildren, Greg Snipes, Angie Lloyd, Amy Bell, Rene Richey, John Michael Ellison and Michelle McAlister. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials should be made to the Honea Path Presbyterian Church, Box 512 Honea Path, SC 29654.
