It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Black of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Black and Ina Gettys Black; and his brother Heyward Black. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Brazeal Black; his children, Randy Black (Wanda) of Honea Path, Dale Black (Lisa) of Gray Court and Sandra Black of Honea Path; his sister Laura Wilson of Anderson; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Lucas Black, Christopher Teague, Kristin, Heather, Traevon and Trenton Black.
