He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leroy and Alma Ellison McWhorter. He is survived by: his spouse Fredda Lowe McWhorter; his children, Marcus McWhorter of Honea Path and Kristi Bannister (Daniel) of Honea Path; his sister Linda Gail Boyd of Walhalla; his grandchildren, Adrienne Warrick (Tyler), Alivia McWhorter, Alaina Bannister, Rhiley Bannister and Sadie Kate Bannister; and his great grandchildren, Daxton Warrick and Dallas Warrick.
