He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. "Bill" and Lavonia Mizell Harris; and his brother Billy Harris. He is survived by: his sister Mary Putnam McAllister of Honea Path; and his nieces and nephews, Susie Cramer, Clausbruch, Elaine Selkowitz, Mary Dell Joyce, Tye Lamborn Nepa, Ralph, Carl, Kenny Putnam and Kenny Wayne Harris.
