He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Ann Revis Gilmer of Marilyn Drive; his parents, Beauford Eugene and Blanche Louise Neal Gilmer; his children, Gene Gilmer of Honea Path, Derrick Gilmer of Charleston and Heather Baldwin (Josh) of Charleston; his sisters, Pat Green (Roger) of Honea Path, Eugenia Medlock of Honea Path and Nina Dale Knight (Floyd) of Travelers Rest; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Gilmer of Honea Path, Ryan Gilmer of Rutherford, NC, Preston of Belton, Michael Gilmer of Belton and Parker Baldwin of Charleston.
