He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Mann Burden; his children, Tina Blake (Tim) of Chesnee, Danny Burden (Annette) of Silver Street, Rachel Burden of Newberry and Robert Burden (Elsa) of Simpsonville; his siblings, Lou Tinsdale (Butch), Willette Glenn (David), Jan Gosa and Mike Burden (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Todd Craine (Marianda), Cody Burden, Ashlee Wicker (Derek), Dalton Brogdon (Sara), Hayley Garcia, Cali Brogdon, Elijah Burden, Jaedan Mullins, MarLee Burden, Hayden Brogdon and Eli Lewis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Little River Baptist Church (2847 Keowee Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Roger's name be made to the Nehemiah Fund of Little River Baptist Church, 2847 Keowee Road, Honea Path, SC 29654.
