He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. "Dick" and Elizabeth Straka Parnell. He is survived by: his son Jason Parnell (Elizabeth Beeks) of Belton; his grandchildren, Madison, Jayden, Noah, Jayce, Emberlyn and Bennett Parnell; his brothers, Randy Parnell, Joe Parnell and Tom Parnell; and his former wife Vickie Branyon.
