She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Pruitt and Joe Edbert Atkin; her son Joey Atkin; and her sister Molly Pitts. She is survived by: her daughter Jan Howell (Rayford); her grandchildren, Joie Lynn Baldwin (Jamie), Joseph Atkin and Justin Atkin (Sarah); and her great grandchild Brady Baldwin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
