She was predeceased by: her spouse Alf Haynie Evans; and her parents, Willie Dexter and Cleopatra Argyll Rogers "Cleo" Hammett. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Evans (Connie) of West Pelzer, Robert Hammett of Pelzer and Carol Evans Tucker of Honea Path. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
