With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin McCoy Jr. of Honea Path, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Melvin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melvin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Melvin and Mary Leila Poore McCoy. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Keith McCoy (Christie) of Honea Path and Christopher Kevin McCoy (Sheila) of Easley; his brother Joe McCoy (Lynda) of Belton; his grandchildren, Autumn McCoy of New York, Jenson McCoy of Honea Path and Mayson McCoy of Honea Path; and his great grandchild Remy Whalen of NewYork. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (1619 State Rd S-4-203, Honea Path, SC 29654).
