She was predeceased by: her parents, G. D. Brown and Blanche Whitaker Brown; and her son William D Burgess. She is survived by: her son Freddie Burgess of Belton; and her grandchildren, Morgan L. Kelley (Doreen) of New Jersey and Leighann Stewart (Jason) of Belton. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
