He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah F. Garrett and Mary Stagg Garrett; and his son Carey Garrett. He is survived by: his daughters, Nell Terry (Bruce) of Abbeville, Patricia Bagwell of Belton and Tammie Kay of Honea Path; his caregiver Oliver Bramlett; and his brother Franklin Garrett of Moonville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Honea Path First Assembly of God or to the Alzheimer's Association.
