He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Benton; his children, Dalton Benton (Madalynn) of Honea Path, Edgar Benton of Honea Path, Nicholas Phillips of Belton, Jessy Benton of Honea Path, Julieann Benton of Honea Path and Savannah Benton of Honea Path; his brothers, Cory Owens (Jamie) of Honea Path and Dennis Benton of Piqua, OH; and his granddaughter Jolene Benton.
