She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ray Burton; her parents, Prue Taylor and Rossie Clinkscales Taylor; her siblings, Bobby, Major Taylor, Marjorie Elliot and Sara Ellen Gambrell; and her grandson Travis Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Ray Burton (Sandy) of Honea Path, Donna Brock (Rickey) of Honea Path, Wanda Jones (James) of Honea Path and Janice Horne (Michael) of Honea Path; and her grandchildren, Gatlin Burton (Krystal), Bryson Burton, Shannon VanPelt (Sammy), Amber Childers (Jonathan), Matraca Shaw (Blake), Makayla Ashley (McKinsey) and Kaleb Horne. She is also survived by twelve great-grand children.
