It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vernon Hunter Jr. of Honea Path, South Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vernon Sr. and Clara Cohn Hunter; and his siblings, Norma Jane Hunter and Allison Gray Hunter. He is survived by: his children, John V Hunter III of Honea Path, Thomas Andrew "Andy" Hunter (Laurie) of Easley, Clyde Harris Hunter (Jan) of Birmingham, AL and Laura Hunter Kelley of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Ross, Elliott, Harris and Mary Claire.
