It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Culbertson of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on February 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Owen and Mary Lois Jonas Armstrong; and her brother Larry Eugene Owen. She is survived by: her children, Paul Culbertson of Honea Path and Lara Burdette of Belton; her sister Faye Barras (Bennie) of Summerville; and her grandsons, Brad Upton and Seth Upton.
The family request that face mask be worn and social distancing observed. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 220 Friendship Church Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654.
