He was predeceased by: his parents, Adger Ellison and Eufied Shirley Wooten; his wife Betty Wooten of Corbin Road; and his children, Jimmy Ray Wooten, James Wooten, Johnny Wooten and Tammy Wooten.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Wayne Wooten (Lisa) of Belton, Kenneth Gene Wooten of Honea Path, Mark Allen Wooten of Honea Path and Betty Teresa Wooten of Belton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
