It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Thompson (Honea Path, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Graden, Sr. and Katherine Elizabeth Garrett Thompson; his daughter Kim Manning; and his siblings, Henry Graden Thompson, Jr. and Kitty Woods.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Caldwell (Tom) of Inman and Susan Busby (Tim) of Anderson; his brother Terry Thompson (Margaret) of Mauldin; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Woods and Stella Thompson; and his grandchildren, Charles Major McCoy, III (Amber), Adam Lee Burdette (Lori), Haley Blake (Brandon), Caleb Busby, Jacob Beistel, Rebecca Rominger (Sherman) and Emma Busby. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
