He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Cooley and Blanche Poole Cooley; his wife Pauline; his siblings, Ronnie Cooley, Billy Cooley and Joyce C. Spearman; and his great grandchildren, Braxton and Kassidy.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Cooley of Honea Path, Vicki Lown (Jay) of Due West and Krista Brock of Honea Path; his sister Violet C. Davis of Ware Shoals; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Smith (Ralph) of Ware Shoals and Faye Cooley of Laurens. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
