He is survived by: his parent Evelyn Mays Posey; his wife Elease Killingsworth Posey; his daughters, Janice Cobb, Angelique Posey and Aleascia Posey; and his siblings, Evelyn Beeks of Honea Path and Paul Posey of Honea Path. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
