He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Cooley and Ethel Cothran Cooley. He is survived by: his wife Jean Chapman Cooley; his sons, Don Cooley (Kimberly) of Simpsonville and Gregg Cooley (Kim) of Central; his sisters, Lucille Parker of Greenville and Nancy Egan of Greenville; his siblings-in-law, Stanley Chapman (Peggy) and Linda Bryant of Pelzer; his grandchildren, Steven Cooley (Ciera), Katie Dobson (Matt), Austin Cooley (Addie) and Preston Cooley (Kelli); and his great grandchildren, Lily Dobson, Rowan Dobson, Liam Cooley and Savannah Cooley.
