It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Allen of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Allen and Callie Smith Allen. He is survived by: his wife Joan Turner Allen; his children, Beverly Isaac (Tim), Martin Allen, Russell Allen and Melanie Truesdale (Mark); and his siblings, Catherine Yeomans, Ann Cooper, Larry Allen (Linda) and Helen Martin. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
