She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dale, Sr. and Ollie Christine Burroughs Ashley; her sister Rebecca Ashley Cassell; her siblings-in-law, James Jerry Cassell, Thomas Theron Ballenger and Patricia Kirkham Ashley; and her nephew Brian Patrick Ashley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Elaine Miller of Honea Path, Cynthia Miller Hunter (Shawn) of Prosperity and Christeen Miller Sheridan (Thai) of Superior, CO; her siblings, George Dale Ashley, Jr. (Mary) of Fredericksburg, TX, Linda Ashley Ballenger of Anderson and Julia Ashley Brock (Pascal) of Lugoff; her grandsons, Brandon John Sheridan and Kyle Christian Sheridan; her niece Margaret Miller Marcom; her nephews, James William Ashley, George Dale Ashley III and Robert McPherson Miller; and her great-nephew Preston Scott Ashley.
