He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Erskine and Margaret Louise Smith Vaughn; and his sister Barbara Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Hanks Vaughn of Murray Avenue; his son Christopher Douglas Vaughn (Kathryn) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Will and Emma Vaughn.
