We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2022, Doris B. Ashley (Honea Path, South Carolina), born in Elberton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Glen Ashley; her parents, William Edgar and Jewel Frost Balchin; and her siblings, George "Buddy" Balchin, Billie Wilson, Sarah Nichols, Maxie McDonald and Rebecca Balchin.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Glen Ashley Jr. (Linda) of Belton, Ronald Waymon Ashley (Tammy) of Honea Path and Wanda Jane Ashley (Sean) of Honea Path; her sister Flonnie Shaw of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Melvin Glen 'Trey Ashley III, Christopher Lee Ashley, Lucas Blake Ashley, Haukon Raighn, Morgan Ashley and Meredith Ashley; and her nephew Chad Ashley. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
