He is survived by: his wife Clara Elaine Lindsay Ashley; his children, Rodney David Ashley of Honea Path and Amanda Ashley Bates (Rodney) of Honea Path; his siblings, Lynn Ashley of Honea Path and Edna Nimmons of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Justin Ashley, Ryan Ashley, Christian Ashley, Colby Bates and Emma Bates; and his great grandchildren, Campbell Ashley, Alivia Ashley and Laken Ashley.
