He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Gambrell and Elizabeth Morrison Gambrell; and his sister Jean Keasler. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kirby Gambrell; his sons, Rev. Gregory Gambrell (Carisa) of Mebane, NC and Brian Gambrell (Amy) of Columbia; and his brothers, Ray Gambrell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Robert Gambrell of Tuxedo, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
