She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Cason Smith and Robert C. Acker; her daughter-in-law Linda Clamp Acker; her grandson R. Gregory Acker; and her siblings, Ann S. Bratcher, Vance Smith, Humphrey Smith, Ed Smith, Robert Smith (June), Lee Alen Smith and Harold Smith.
She is survived by: her son R. David Acker; her grandson Danny Acker; her great grandchildren, D. Austin Acker, Donnie Ray Dooley and Harmony Dooley; and her sister-in-law Margaret B Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted but in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Ackers name to the Tabernacle Children's Home, 3931 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
