It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Eugene Wolverton Sr. of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth LeRoy and Florence Marie Cochran Wolverton; his son Carl Eugene "Rabbit" Wolverton, Jr.; and his sisters, Kendra Margal, Penny Lynn and Lynda Laihr.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Troy Wolverton, Rebecca Marie Jewett (Tom) of Honea Path, Debra Lori Gabriel, Johanna Rice (Jamie Black) of Belton and Marion Wolverton of Honea Path. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
