He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McGaha and Mader McDonald McGaha; and his siblings, Charlie, Ralph, Curly, Malcolm, Dennis McGaha, Eula Mae Whitman, Juanita Martin and Grace Norris.

He is survived by: his children, Paul McGaha (Melissa) of Donalds, Lisa Allen (Jeff) of West Pelzer and Amanda Gawel (Paul) of Easley; and his grandchildren, Lauran McGaha and Troy Allen.
