He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Larry Dukes. He is survived by: his mother June Madden Dukes; his son Steven Satterfield (Lacey) of Belton; his siblings, Mark Evans Dukes of Honea Path and Jennifer Dukes Ballard (Keith) of Anderson; his grandchildren, McKinlee Satterfield and Briggs Satterfield; and his nephew Stetson Dukes of Abbeville. He is also survived by several great nieces and a great nephew.
