She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M. McCoy; her parents, Sallie Glenn and James Frederick Acker; and her son-in-law David Samuel Greer. She is survived by: her children, Charles M. McCoy, Jr. (Kay), Melissa M. Greer and Mark B. McCoy (Rhea); her grandchildren, Charles McCoy, III (Amber), Amanda M. Booth (Tim), Samantha G. McDowell (Matt), Haley E. Greer, Mia G. TerBeek (Jon) and Ian McCoy; her niece Mary A. Edwards (Bub); and her friend Charlie M. Horton. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honea Path First Baptist Church or Hospice of the Upstate.
