It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Gossett of Honea Path, South Carolina, born in Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Allen "B. A."; her son Wayne Bernard Ledford; and her siblings, Bonnie Burgess, Wilton and Marshall Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Rena Ledford Lowe (Charlie) of Belton and Donnie Gossett (Pat) of Easley; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Ledford of Piedmont. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
