He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Morgan and Sara Snipes Morgan. He is survived by: his daughter Brooke Johnson (Brandon) of Simpsonville, SC; and his sister Brenda Hudson (Gordon) of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
