She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Ronnette Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Mitchell; her parents, Barbara Ann Matthews and James Sanders, Sr. (Virgie); her siblings, Jamie O'Dell Brown (Katherine), James Sanders, Jr., Jacoby Alston and Treyonna Alston; her daughters, Olivia Matthews-Sultan (Tony) and Mykailah Matthews; her parents-in-law, Ronald and Beulah Mitchell; and her sister-in-law Jessica Mitchell. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
