He is survived by: his wife Dolores Ropp King of Hollywood; his children, DeWitt Walker King III (Debra) of Charlotte, NC, Joseph Jennings King (Barbara) of Sapphire, NC, Jane King Walsh (Steve) of Roswell, GA, Robert Miller King of Charlotte, NC and Andrew Brown King (Jennifer) of St. Johns, FL; his stepchildren, Deborah Stier Carson (late Bob Carson) and John Charles Stier (Molly); and his parents, DeWitt Walker King of McClellanville, SC and Nell Miller King of Laurens, SC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
