She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie "Forty" Edwards and Florence Goodwin Edwards; her son Harry Jerome Edwards; her siblings, Eloise, Katherine, Edna Edwards and Harry Jacob Edwards; and her sister-in-law Jessie L. Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband James E. Coger, Jr.; her son Benjamin Asbury (Andrea); her grandchildren, Deadrea Asbury and Benjamin Asbury, II; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jeamiah Asbury; and her brother-in-law Tom Lewis (Rose). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
