He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Layman Gaskins and Harold Gaskins; his wife Ella Lee Gaskins; his son Larry; and his brothers, Harold Jr., Loris Marvin (L. B.) and Cuffy.
He is survived by: his children, John, Michael, Steven, Lynn and Tammy. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Avinger Funeral Home (2274 Eutaw Rd, Holly Hill, SC 29059). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
