He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Disher Ross; his parents, Paul Ross and Ida Bell Ross (Tyler); and his brother Jack Ross. He is survived by: his son Robert E. Ross, Jr. of Holly Hill; his granddaughters, Ryan Emily Ross of Summerville and Addison Elizabeth Ross of Summerville; and his siblings, Clifford Ross of Elkin and Maxine Ross Bivens of Elkin. He is also survived by his wife and his family, his love of animals, his love of travel with his friends.
