She was predeceased by: her parents, Jervey Williams and Eva Dunning Williams of Harleyville, SC.; and her husband Carl Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Later, Benjaman Berry (Patricia), Rev. Rufus Berry, Sr. (Ida) of Harleyville, SC and Edna James (Willie) of Holly Hill, SC; her sister-in-law Willie Mae Williams of Florida; her close friend Janet Lemon; and her goddaughter Reta Berry. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.
