He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jackson and Gussie Scott Jackson; his sons, Morris Jackson, Jr. and Wayne Jackson; and his brother Roy Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Lee Pritcher Jackson; his son Samuel Jackson (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Shanda Shuler, Sondra Yocum, Brittany Joplin, Brooke Jackson, Angel LaSalle and Angela Jackson. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two siblings.
