It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Belle Jenkins Brown (Holly Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jenkins and Maggie Britt Jenkins; and her husband Norman Brown, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Delores Olin (David) of Holly Hill, SC, Clifford Brown (Margie) of Landover, MD, Norman Brown, Jr. (Phyllis) of Summerville, SC, Abram and Barney Brown of Holly Hill, SC; her sisters, Rumell Brown, Etta James, Venell Primus of Saint George, SC and Elease Spells of Washington, DC; her sister-in-law Leslie Warren of Holly Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Lakema Brown, Shakema James, Joshua Olin, Eden Olin, Simone Brown and Jonathan Brown; and her great grandchildren, Zyra Penn, Siniyah Spann, William Spann, III and Skylar Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
