It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isaac Spann (Holly Hill, South Carolina), born in Cross, South Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Spann and Beatrice Bennett Spann; and his siblings, Alberta Wheeler, Annie Ruth Griffith, Dorothy Bland and Benjamin Spann.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Taylor Spann; his children, Isaac II, Desi, Terrill, Corey Spann, Tyrone Spann of Jersey City, Alison, Iris, Ceina, Erica and Yakenya Spann; his stepdaughter Natayia McCray; his brother Peter Spann (Lou Bertha); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Mosley (Herbert), Edna Mosley (Rufus), Evelyn Johnson, Johnny Taylor, Marvin Taylor (Lorraine), Leon Taylor (Joanne), Jerome Taylor, Edward Taylor (Tara) and Richard Cunningham (Carol); his granddaughter Zahra Jacqueline Spann; and his niece April Harris. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other loving relatives and dear friends.
