She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Lee Gilliard and Joe Young, Sr.; and her siblings, Maggie L. Young and Joe "Bubba" Young, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jackie Griffin; her daughter Shawnquena Young of St. George, SC; her stepchildren, Lois Burnett of Sumter, Audies and Elijah Griffin; her siblings, Elizabeth L. Young of Harleyville, SC, Mattie M Young of Vance, SC, Tennis Walker (John) of Holly Hill, SC, Sylvia M. Young of St George, SC, William Young of Holly Hill, SC, Anthony Young of Phoenix, AZ, Abraham Young of Moncks Corner, SC and Roberta Young of Jamaica, NY; her grandchildren, La'Kelly Young, Racheal Adgerson, Ja'Lean Adgerson and Makakila Adgerson; and her great grandchild Ki'Mera of St. George, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
