He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Waddill Wiles and Paul Kinard Wiles; and his great grandchild Luxe Northrop. He is survived by: his wife Janice Cauthen Wiles; his children, Jason Wiles and Virginia Schaefer (Alex); his grandchildren, Amber Wiles, Ashten Wiles, Jayce Wiles, Brayden Schaefer and Bryson Schaefer; his great grandchildren, Alexandria Miller, Penelope Northrop, Gabrielle Burnette, Valentine Burnette and Onyx Northrop; his sisters, Gayla Garrett and Laura Harris (Don); and his caregivers, Nichole MacMillan, Audrey Walsh, Beth Mengelt, Rachelle Sims, Sheila Monroe and Tamra McClung. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
